Welcome to the world of the Maine Windjammer! We invite you to join us for two hours of adventure on board the beautiful schooner Surprise, the oldest daysailing windjammer in Camden. Experience Penobscot Bay the way it was meant to be… from the deck of our 95-year-old fisherman yacht which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We are former teachers and we appreciate the chance to share the history of Surprise with our passengers, point out the varied wildlife on Penobscot Bay and explain the lobster fishing industry that is so important to our economy and our sense of place. A trip on Surprise is more than just a boat ride ! Come aboard and see for yourself!
